Proof Approval
Every custom order receives a free professional proof before production. The proof gives you an opportunity to verify the wording, layout and product selections before your order is manufactured.
How the proof process works
- Place your order and submit the wording, logo, artwork and product selections.
- A Facility Signs Pro specialist reviews the design for production and prepares a proof when approval is required.
- The proof is sent to the email address provided with the order.
- Review the proof and either approve it in writing or request changes.
- Production begins after written approval is received.
What you must review
Before approving a proof, carefully verify all order and design details, including:
- Spelling, punctuation and capitalization
- Company names, lease names, well numbers and telephone numbers
- API numbers, legal descriptions and location information
- Sign size, orientation, material and quantity
- Mounting selections, colors, logos and artwork
- The overall layout and placement of every design element
Revisions
If a correction is needed, reply with clear revision instructions. We will update the design and provide another proof for review. Major design changes, replacement artwork or changes to the ordered product may affect pricing or production time; we will contact you before proceeding if an adjustment is required.
Approval and production
Written approval confirms that the proof is correct and authorizes Facility Signs Pro to begin production. Production estimates begin after approval, not on the original order date. Delayed responses, missing information or additional revisions will delay production and shipment.
After approval and production begins, custom products normally cannot be changed or canceled. See our Returns, Cancellations and Custom Products Policy for additional terms.
Color and screen differences
Colors displayed on phones, monitors and digital proofs are approximate. Screen settings, lighting, material finish and the printing process can cause reasonable differences between the proof and the finished product. Contact us before approval when an exact color match is critical.
Safety and regulatory information
The proof review confirms production layout and artwork quality. It does not certify that customer-supplied wording, sign placement or product selections satisfy every OSHA, ANSI, DOT, pipeline, property or local requirement. The customer is responsible for confirming the requirements that apply at the installation location.
